Town Mountain at Clementine

Raw, soulful, and with plenty of swagger, Town Mountain, based in Asheville, NC, recently made their way to the little south-central Louisiana town of Breaux Bridge, where they recorded their fifth and most cohesive, most satisfying album to date, Southern Crescent. Produced and engineered by GRAMMY winner Dirk Powell, the album was recorded in Powell’s studio, The Cypress House. With an insatiable musical hunger, Robert Greer on vocals and guitar, Jesse Langlais on banjo, Phil Barker on mandolin and vocals, Adam Chaffins on bass, and Jack Devereaux on fiddle, Town Mountain blends that perfect mix of energetic bluegrass sound and dance music drive.

Har Mar Superstar with George Clanton

Sean Tillmann (aka Har Mar Superstar) is an American songwriter / performer who makes R&B / Pop / Soul music. What started as a one-man show in 1999 has grown into a full band revue. Often noted as a premier live act, Tillmann works the crowd and earns his keep with sweat equity. A grueling tour schedule has made this Minneapolis, MN outfit a show not to miss.

George Clanton (fka Mirror Kisses)
"The producer George Clanton makes expansive electronic pop influenced by Eighties sounds. His big drum beats and vintage synth sounds are reminiscent of artists like John Maus, who take on new wave–like pop from a slightly distorted angle. But Clanton, who has worked in the dubious vaporwave meme-genre in the past, is more accessible and less afraid to go all the way into pop territory. His tracks are maximalist, exploding into colorful, exuberant climaxes. For someone who has lurked in some of the strangest corners of the Internet, Clanton makes songs that manage to be truly anthemic, something anyone can enjoy." -- Village Voice

Chris Knight (Full Band)

Chris Knight
Chris Knight doesn’t like to say much. Won’t chat about his worldview or engage in conversations on his creative approach. For 15 years, 7 acclaimed albums and a hard-nosed career that’s been hailed as “where Cormac McCarthy meets Copperhead Road”, Knight has always let his music do most of the talking. And on record – as well everywhere across America, from roadhouse taverns to major-city concert halls – his songs have had plenty to say. But with his new album Little Victories, Chris Knight has taken the discussion to a whole new level.

Kendall Street Co. with Black Masala

Kendall Street Company is a six-piece rock band based out of Charlottesville, Virginia. Known for their immensely energetic and unpredictable live performances, the band's musical style incorporates elements of jam, folk, jazz, ska, funk, and psychedelic rock. Fusing genres, they embrace mind-altering riffs as well as soulful and jazzy wit, while remaining true to their folksy songwriting roots. With the release of their first full-length album, Earth Turns (2016), the Company evokes an ever-changing kaleidoscope of sound, spinning out an organic repertoire entirely their own. Their sophomore effort, “Space For Days” is set for release in late summer 2017.

“Black Masala seems to be name rolling off of everyone’s tongue in the last year, and for a good reason: they deliver one of the most explosive performances you will see in D.C. The band is comprised of members from Bellflur, Thievery Corporation, and many others-rounding out a very diverse sound. Black Masala...will make for a rip-roaring evening of worldly music that is sure to be a don’t miss event.” - D.C. Music Download Blog
