Clementine lives inside a piece of Harrisonburg history — and it's been turning first visits into lifelong habits ever since. Pull up a chair. We saved you a seat.
A historic building finds its calling
We're set inside the old Strand Theater on South Main Street — a building that's been a gathering place for Harrisonburg since long before we got here. It felt right to keep that spirit going: warm, welcoming, and always worth the trip downtown.
Chef Matt Clancey
Executive Chef Matt Clancey cooks with southern roots and a restless creative drive — scallops in champagne butter one night, buttermilk fried chicken the next.
Art on the walls, music on the stage
Local artists rotate through the walls regularly, and the stage hosts everything from JMU jazz on Thursdays to touring acts on weekends. We've been recognized as one of Harrisonburg's best live music venues
Brunch
Saturday and Sunday brunch runs 10 AM–3 PM: brioche French toast, shrimp and grits, creative mimosa pairings, and a Bloody Mary that earns its keep. Champagne before noon — sometimes the weekend gets the better of you, and that's fine.
Ruby's Lounge keeps the night going
Head downstairs and the vibe shifts — Ruby's Lounge brings karaoke, DJs, and late-night energy with the full Clementine menu until 9 PM. One building, two distinct experiences.
